I took the Band-Aids off my car skirmish injuries, and they seem to be healing well. They itch. They look much less frightening now that they are partly healed: more raspberry-colored and less bright bloody red.
Cobweb continues to do very well. It's amazing to me that she seemed so close to death only 9 or 10 days ago. I expect she might last a couple more months at this rate. But, as Shannon says, her turn for the worse might be very sudden and drastic. I'm just enjoying being with her.
I need to email Andrew to see if he is willing to send me more crossword puzzles. I've finished off the Mondays and Tuesdays already. I'm obsessed.
Shannon and I are planning to bike up to Trader Joe's sometime in the next couple days to buy Cobweb some canned cat food. Shannon did some online research, and apparently the Trader Joe's brand cat food is better than what we've been buying at our local grocery store. I hardly ever go to Trader Joe's -- it isn't easy walking distance -- so I'm wracking my brain, trying to think if there's anything else I want to buy while we're there. No candy! I'm always seduced by the candy!
Watched the 2-hour premiere of "Stargate: Universe" and was underwhelmed. I tired of the whole Stargate thing long ago, before Jack left SG1, but Shannon likes the shows, so I watch them with him. It's an inertia thing.
