Today Shannon's dad (Gary) and sister (Melody) drove up to watch the season finale of Lost with us (and make much of Lucy), and then we all went out to dinner. We'll be seeing Gary again on Tuesday, because he and Mary will be coming up to have lunch with us. They're moving to Hawaii a couple days later, so they wanted to see us before they go. We plan to see them again at Christmastime.

I'm really tired of the Democratic primary race and I wish it would just be over already.

I finished Assassin's Quest (which I enjoyed quite a bit) yesterday and am about to start the first book in the next trilogy. The next trilogy isn't about the same character, though, so I'm looking forward to finishing it and moving on to more books about Fitz.
