Tangerines, yes.

Went out today to keep Shannon company while he did some yard work. I have old injuries to my arms, so pulling weeds is not good for me, but he was trimming the large flowering bush in our back yard (I don't know what kind it is, but it's huge) so that it didn't extend into our neighbor's yard. I pointed out that if we had another pair of pruning sheers, I could be helping, since very little pulling was required. So we went out today and bought another pair of pruning sheers, and next Sunday I will help, probably pruning ivy. Our yard is seriously out of control.

I've spent most of the rest of the day reading The Curse of Chalion, which I like much more than Paladin of Souls (as wild_irises had predicted). I'll finish it tomorrow, but right now I'm too tired to read. I wouldn't remember it tomorrow.

I've been trying to drink less juice lately. Last week I drank half as much as I usually do (I normally drink an obscene amount of juice). This is partially for health reasons (juice is a lot of sugar without any of the fiber that comes from whole fruit, and I don't need so much acid in my stomach) and partially for financial reasons (when buying groceries, I normally spend about $12 on juice). So I've been trying to drink more plain water, instead, and I'm not finding it hard at all. I think next week I may make some iced tea as a change, for when I want more than water.

Tonight for my snack with my evening pills, I ate a tangerine. It was incredibly delicious, perhaps because it has been years since I ate a tangerine. I have another one in the fridge, and I can't wait to eat it tomorrow. Yum.
