I started reading Jasper Fforde's Lost in a Good Book, but I got distracted by Fables before I got more than a few pages in. When Shannon gave me all his volumes of Fables, I picked up the one on the top of the pile and opened it up. On the inside, it had pictures of all the different characters and descriptions of their situations. I read it, marveling at how much had happened since the first book ... and then discovered that I had picked up the final book, rather than the second one. They had been stacked in descending order and I hadn't looked at the spine. So now I know who the mysterious villain is, as well as how my preferred pairing ends up. I spoiled myself. Oh well.
Last night Shannon and I went to see The Bourne Ultimatum, which we liked quite a bit. I've enjoyed all three of the Bourne movies, though this was the first one we saw in the theater. We don't normally go to see movies at the theater, because it's too expensive (we usually just wait to get things from Netflix when they come out on DVD), but we got an anniversary gift of some money and I suggested that we use part of it for date-like activities. It was nice to go out.
