Came home and found that I'd received an email from Key Curriculum Press, offering me a short proofreading assignment. Hurray! I'd mostly given up on proofreading, so I'm terribly excited about the opportunity. It's only 70 pages, but it's better than nothing. I'm glad I got back in touch with them. It's also possible that this might lead to more work, if there's work to be had.
No time to read Harry Potter tonight, since Shannon has people over on Thursday evenings for games. We left Dumbledore in dire danger yesterday and I've thought of it often today, because I'm a sad, pathetic little geek. Well, also because I was bored out of my mind and had to think about something. We'll find out what happened tomorrow. I have little fear for Dumbledore's safety, but am curious as to how he'll get out of this spot of trouble.
Tomorrow is my last day at this work assignment. Then I have a few days off -- maybe enough to start sleeping like a normal person again -- then start my freelance proofreading project on Tuesday. Again I say yay!
