What use is a dictionary that doesn't contain words?

I've been playing a game on Yahoo lately, called Text Twist. It's a relatively amusing game involving anagrams, but the dictionary it uses to verify your answers is simply pathetic. I decided to write a list of perfectly good words I tried to use tonight, but which the Text Twist dictionary refused:
ben
clays
coke
cote
daw(ed)
dicey
dirk
doge
dreg
ebon
gird
glans
greens
grog
hewn
ichor
ids
kith
kneed
laity
lave(s)
loden
luge
mage
magi
micas
mitre
mown
pug
resh
riced
rime(d)
rood
roust
sere
shorn
slut
stet
thine
toile
tor(s)
trope
viands
wort
Those were the only ones I stopped to write down in disgust, anyway. Stupid dictionary.

Edited To Add: I'm continuing to add to the list for my own amusement.
