Lilo & Stitch

It's all mousme's fault.

Tonight we watched Lilo & Stitch, and I loved it. I liked it far more than I expected to, partially because the Hawai'ian setting felt so accurate. All kinds of stuff kept reminding me of our trip to Kaua'i, even down to the endangered green sea turtles! Plus, I laughed, and I cried, and I even honestly thought the alien was cute (even though I was sure I wouldn't). And there were some scenes that still have me laughing an hour later. There's a San Francisco bit that had me almost falling off the couch.

I hate Disney with a burning passion ... but I'm almost tempted to buy this movie on DVD. Probably not tempted enough to actually do it, but the temptation is there.
