sick with teddy bear

I got sick Monday evening with some sort of intestinal problem, and it hasn't gone away. After a few days, I went to the doctor (and my BP was 75/57, explaining why I feel so weak and tired all the time). The doc seems pretty convinced that I've "got" something, though she doesn't know if its viral or bacterial. She ordered a bunch of lab tests and gave me antibiotics, and told me to keep drinking lots of Gatorade (as I've been doing) and taking it easy.

So I'm taking 5 days of antibiotics + a bunch of probiotics, and waiting for lab results. In the meantime, I've had almost an entire week of intestinal misery. The worst have been the prolonged sharp cramps, which have only appeared a few times in the evenings. I'm eating lots of soup and listening to the "Divergence" series on audiobook from the library when I'm not passed out asleep.

The worst thing about being so sick is that I've totally abandoned my knee exercises for the duration. It just doesn't make any sense to try to do them when I'm so weak and they don't have any sort of time limitation. I'll start them up again when I'm feeling strong again, but in the meantime, I feel like I'm letting myself down. It doesn't make any sense, but feelings don't have to. I know I'm doing the right thing.
