me blue hair

(no subject)

In cat news: we've noticed that Cobweb isn't following us up and down the stairs anymore. She seems tired. She doesn't meow for our attention as much. When I say hello to her she doesn't respond like she used to. She seems less social, though she isn't exactly hiding. I don't know if the wet food will make any difference, because the vet had told us that she wasn't absorbing nutrients from her food, no matter how much she ate. That may have changed since she's been on medication, but I don't know, since she seems skinnier every day. Getting her to eat can't be a bad thing, though, so she's getting the royal treatment: tasty tasty food, as much as she'll eat.

Our refinance has gone through! Hurray! We now have the money to get some stuff fixed around the house. I need to get on that. First step: get someone to come look at our tree to see if it needs to be removed.

Last night our DVR didn't tape "CSI: NY" correctly, and I was rather peeved. I missed the first half hour. Shannon thinks I did something incorrectly when I programmed it to record ... I think I did something that should have worked but the DVR is stupid. I miss our TiVo. Anyway, the network has the episode on their website, so I can watch it tonight while Shannon is gaming. And I can try to avoid the same mistake in the future. (I hate this DVR. The UI sucks.)

We've been reviewing some stuff today in my Dreamweaver class, but I haven't minded. We're looking at how to create a navigation section out of an unordered list. We've done it before, but it seems like something I will find very useful, so I don't mind going over it again. I notice that some people seem to think we're doing it for the first time. Sigh.
both cats

Cobweb has taken a turn for the worse today. She can't seem to get comfortable, and keeps lying down in various favorite spots, resting there a moment, shifting position, then getting up and walking to a different spot. It's hard to watch her.

This whole situation sucks. Cats should live forever.
