both cats

Cats and Comedies

I need to get a new cat icon that includes Lucy, but she's very hard to photograph (all black). And it might be hard to get a picture with all three cats in it. Still, I feel like I'm slighting her when I use this icon.

The cats are getting along much better now. Lucy often lays down within a foot of Munchkin and there is no hissing. Shannon says Munchkin still doesn't like Lucy, but he may just be comparing her to Cobweb, who has been very welcoming, including frequent attempts to bathe the kitten (the kitten usually has little patience with this treatment). Munchkin certainly isn't as friendly toward the kitten as Cobweb is, but she seems to tolerate Lucy just fine now. I rarely hear her hiss anymore, even when the kitten goes bounding very close to her. I think as Lucy calms down as she gets older and stops trying so aggressively to play with the older cats, everyone will get along fine.

I was talking with Shannon tonight about the fact that I have trouble finding comedies I like. I find most comedies stupid. But then I thought that I could take advantage of my friends list. Maybe you could recommend something funny to me? To give you an idea of my tastes, here are some things I find funny:

pretty much anything by Joss Whedon, in places
Bull Durham
Bridget Jones's Diary
The Big Chill
Empire Records
Truly Madly Deeply
The Full Monty
When Harry Met Sally
Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure
Wayne's World
So I Married an Axe-Murderer
High Fidelity
The Eyre Affair

So what should I be watching or reading? What might I find funny? Old or new, all recs are welcome.
