According to reliable sources online, most cough drops are pretty much equally (in)effective, so I figure there's no sense in torturing myself with menthol when I can suck on tasty "candy" instead.
I'm coughing a lot this evening (even after a very physically undemanding outing to lunch and the Dollar Store today), and so I'm uncertain about how I'll sleep tonight, but I'm comforted by the knowledge that if I'm coughing at 3 a.m., I can have some wild cherry candy from my childhood.
