Berkeley Bowl

I totally forgot I meant to share this story a few days ago.

On Wednesday I was in the organic produce section at Berkeley Bowl, and a little girl, 2 or 3 years old, was walking near me, jumping up and down and begging, "I want it now! I want it now!" And her mom leaned down and said gently, "I'm glad you're so excited to eat the broccoli, honey, but first we have to take it home and wash it."

Small children bouncing excitedly in the produce aisle, begging for raw organic broccoli? Possibly a sign of the apocalypse.
