*scratch* *scratch* *scratch*

As often happens when I eat out with Lisa, today I ate something I've never tried before: oysters. Fried oysters, to be precise, because she judged that leaping immediately to raw oysters might be a bit too much for me and scare me off.

I wasn't tremendously impressed by the fried oyster I ate -- it was really salty -- but Lisa said the oysters we had weren't particularly good, so I decided that I was reserving judgment and would be willing to try them again in the future.

And now, this evening, I went to bed, and woke up maybe an hour later itching itching itching. I figured I was just imagining it, that I'd had some weird dream about sand fleas or something, so I got up and had a drink, went to the bathroom, and then went back to bed. Itching itching itching! Itching like crazy, all over my body! Waking me up over and over again!

So it's possible that I may have a mild allergy to oysters. I don't have hives, and my throat isn't closing up or anything scary like that, but this itching is definitely not normal.
