I spent much of the day reading ... um ... some book about teens, reform school, and fallen angels. Whatever. It keeps me entertained. It doesn't inspire any actual thought, but I'm still enjoying it.
Cobweb and Munchkin lay on me for hours and hours while I was reading. When they weren't there. Lucy came and kneaded my chest for a while before settling down. I felt so popular! But hey ... what's better than a rainy day with a cat and a book?
Then I've also been listening to Bernhard Schlink's The Reader, which is very different, full of abstractions and metaphors, focused on ideas rather than events. I don't think this kind of book is best suited to listening on audio, but I'm already almost half done with the book, so I'll finish it up.
