Mail

Woo hoo! The hubby's present came in the mail today, so now I don't have to worry about whether it will be here in time for Christmas.

Also in the mail today was The Mystery Candy, addressed to me. Sent from Idaho. No indication of who it's from, but it's clearly someone who knows me quite well, because it's chocolate covered dried apricots. So that (and the fact that my last name was spelled correctly) pretty much rules out family. I am baffled!

Secret potato admirer?

Upon first reading, I interpreted this as someone who secretly admires potatoes. Heh.

As far as I know, I don't have any secret admirers or any friends in Idaho, so I can only imagine that someone ordered these to be sent to me, but I can't imagine who or why! If it was someone local (like Shannon) they could have just bought them at a store. I am mucho curious.

I've never had chocolate covered dried apricots. Sounds interesting.

It must be dark chocolate. Milk chocolate just ruins the whole thing. Dark-chocolate-covered dried apricots are one of the world's perfect foods.

I'm jealous. :) Dried apricots are one of my all time favorite foods. One of those things that I have to ration for myself or I'll just sit there with a couple of pound bag eating till I wonder why my stomic is complaining at me. Oh course, they have to be good quality apricots. Not some of those evil Costco ones, but real yummy ones.
