Games

I was curious to see how many different board/card games Shannon and I have played so far this year, so I checked out his listing at BoardGameGeek.com, where he keeps track of such things obsessively. The games he and I have played together thus far this year are:

Alhambra (tile-laying auction game)
The Ark of the Covenant (tile-laying game)
Balloon Cup (card game)
Bohnanza (card game)
The Bridges of Shangri-La (dominance-control tile-laying game)
Carcassonne (tile-laying game)
Carcassonne: The Castle (tile-laying game)
Castle (dominance-control tile-laying game)
Corsari (card game)
Diceland: Ogre (giant dice-rolling war game)
Lord of the Rings (a few different board games I didn't like)
Lost Cities (card game)
Mystery Rummy: Al Capone (card game)
Mystery Rummy: Murders in the Rue Morgue (card game)
Samurai (dominance-control tile-laying game)
La Strada (road-building game)
Tongiaki (abstract strategy dominance-control game)
TransAmerica (railroad game)
Wooly Bully (tile-laying game, aka "La Guerre des Moutons")
ZooSim (tile-laying auction game)

Actually, yeah. I've played it once. I guess it must have been last year, since it didn't show up on Shannon's list. If memory serves, I did like it.

We've actually never played Puerto Rico together, though it's been on the shelf for the last year.

Huh. You must have showed it to me in some detail, then, because I do remember the components, the boards, the objectives, the method of play, etc.
